OJT Summit: "Strengthening Relationship between Cot’s and Industries”
The aim of this workshop is to develop an effective mechanism to enhance the On-the-Job-Training (OJT) practices in the Colleges of Technology. The delegates for the workshop are high officials from Ministry of Manpower, Colleges of Technology administrations from seven colleges, representatives from the public and private sectors.
The program will consist of three main sessions:
Session I – Mechanism of OJT: OJT procedures, importance of training for the OJT students & benefits for Private sectors.
Session II - OJT challenges & solutions: challenges and solutions of On the job training, and mechanism to strengthen the roles and responsibilities of CoT’s, private sectors and trainees.
Session III – OJT Experiences: in this session, some of OJT experiences will be shared by the speakers
Organized and hosted by Ibra College of Technology, Sultanate of Oman.
